DESCRIPTION:Sydney locals are invited to test their skills at building Human Towers \nHuman towers is an activity originated in the 1800s in Catalonia (north-east of Spain). Although the majority of teams come from Catalan lands\, tradition has extended to international ones such as Hangzhou (China)\, London\, Paris and Copenhagen. \nSydney Human Towers is opening their doors to all Sydneysiders to come and experience first hand this unique tradition\, enlisted as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco since 2010. \nThe event will take place on Saturday 2nd November at the Gure Txoko (Basque Club) in Darlinghurst and will include photography exhibitions\, performances\, workshops and of course the screening of the best moments of the biggest human towers contest\, held every 2 years.
